: Mindful and gentle yoga for everybody with puppy love!
Sanitization and social distancing protocols are in place in all of our classes.
Masks are required. Maximum 8 participants per class.
When the puppies are first born, much like children, their natural inclination and instinct is to be with their mother. This is both an important time for the puppies and the mother, and yet as any mother knows, it can be very tiring for the mother. As the puppies grow, they need to begin learning how to socialize with people for when they are adopted out to their forever homes. Puppy Yoga gives these puppies a perfect opportunity to learn these skills. What a better atmosphere for these puppies than in a place of peace, calm and pure love of a yoga practice?
The practice is designed to give the puppies an opportunity to play among themselves, interact with others and give mama a little bit of reprieve.
Practicing yoga always leaves clients feeling energized or rested an relaxed. In other words, everyone benefits.
Gentle mindful yoga is a calming practice designed to activate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system while creating a deep awareness of the mind-body-breath connection and cultivating greater feelings of self-acceptance and self-appreciation.
Puppies will be available for cuddles and puppy love as well as a constant reminder about joy and here and now. We the participants are able to provide warm loving interaction for these puppies. And the experience and feeling is 100% reciprocated.
In this practice, we will move the body through a series of soft, fluid movements, focusing our attention on noticing and feeling sensations in the body, without judgment or expectation. Using breathe as an anchor, participants are in full control of their experience in the present moment.
Come and step into your practice, nourish your mind and body and fill your heart with puppy love.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to Moringaâs Mission to help animals in the DR.
